17th International Plastics Fair 2025 begins in Dhaka

The four-day International Plastics Fair 2025 commenced on Wednesday (12 February) at the Bashundhara International Convention City (ICCB) in Dhaka.

Fair under the banner 17th Bangladesh International Plastics, Printing and Packaging Industry Fair (IPF 2025) organised jointly by the Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPGMEA) and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co Ltd, this is the 17th edition of the annual fair.

Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin formally inaugurated the event as a Chief Guest.

The Ceremony was attended among others by Special Guest Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, Secretary (Routine Duty), Ministry of Commerce and Project Director, EC4J, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Special Guest Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin, President, SAARC Chamber of Commerce and lndustry (SCCI), Special Guest Md. Hafizur Rahman, Administrator, FBCCI, Guest of Honour, The Country Director of World Bank Bangladesh, Akai Lin, Overseas Director, Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co, Ltd.
BPGMEA President Shamim Ahmed presided over the ceremony and delivered valuable speech.

This fair provides not only an excellent sourcing platform for the international manufacturers, professional buyers and decision makers in plastics, printing and packaging industries, but also brings the opportunity for all participants to network and exchange relevant information with each other.

IPF is now one of the biggest events among the South East Asian nations. With over 800 stalls and more than 390 top brands from 18 countries, IPF 2025 will be the largest event of its kind in Bangladesh. Visitors can explore everything from plastic processing to high-tech printing, packaging solutions, raw materials, and quality testing equipment. The expo will feature leading companies from China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Taiwan, Turkey, the UK, and more, highlighting Bangladesh's growing role in the global market.

Every day the IPF-25 will be open at 11.00 am and close at 7.00 pm.
