Gas supply will remain off for 13 hours on Thursday in different areas in the northern part of Dhaka city.
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC has announced the 13-hour disruption in gas supply for several areas.
From 1 pm Thursday until 2 am Friday, gas will be unavailable for all categories of customers in the following areas: Kurmitola Hospital, Hotel Radisson, RPGCL, Dhaka Regency Hotel, Khilkhet, Concord City (up to the riverbank), Hotel La Meridian, Balaka Bhaban, Haji Camp, Catering House at Kaola, and the Civil Aviation Quarter.
Additionally, nearby areas such as Joar Sahara and Nikunja may experience low gas pressure. Titas Gas has apologized for the temporary inconvenience and urged consumers to plan accordingly.
