1,635 cases filed over traffic violations in city

The Traffic Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 1,906 cases for traffic violations during a special drive carried out across the capital.

As part of the operation, 181 vehicles were abandoned and 63 others were towed, according to DMP Assistant Commissioner (media) Jahangir Kabir on Wednesday.
This operation is part of the DMP's ongoing efforts to enforce traffic rules and ease congestion in the city. The Traffic Department has committed to continuing such operations in various areas of Dhaka to improve traffic management and ensure better adherence to traffic laws.
