Met office predicts light rain likely over parts of country

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted mostly dry weather with a temporary partly cloudy sky for the next 24 hours, with a chance of light rain in some parts of Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.

According to the forecast, light rain or drizzle is expected in one or two areas of these divisions, starting from 9 AM Wednesday.
The sub-continental high-pressure ridge extends to Bihar and nearby areas, while the seasonal low is located over the South Bay. Moderate to dense fog is likely to occur across the country from late night to morning.

The night temperature is expected to rise slightly by 1-2°C, while daytime temperatures will remain nearly the same across the country. On Tuesday, the highest temperature recorded was 31.6°C in Teknaf, and the lowest was 12.0°C in Rajshahi.

The sun will set at 5:52 PM Wednesday and rise at 6:33 AM Thursday in the capital.
