Two die from electrocution in Sherpur

Two people died from electrocution in Sherpu'sr Sadar upazila on Wednesday morning.

The accident took pace around 8:30 am at Chattarkandi under ​​Bajitkhila in the upazila.
The dead are Akram Hossain, 45, a farmer, son of the late Latif of Chattarkandi area, and Hanif Uddin, 55, a farm worker, son of the late Samej Uddin of Naubhanga Char.

According to locals, the two came into contact with a live electric wire while they were connecting a motor to a power line. They died on the spot.

Sherpur Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Zubair Alam confirmed it.
