Students' protest demands Sirajganj ADSM committee reinstatment

The suspended leaders of Anti-Discrimination Students' Movement (ADSM) Sirajganj unit staged a demonstration by blocking roads and railway track demanding the reinstatement of the committee on Tuesday.

The protest program held on the Dhaka-Ishwardi railway track of Jamtoil Station under Kamarkhand upazila and continued from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
During the demonstration, the leaders of ADSM addressed the crowd.

Earlier, on Saturday, the central body of ADSM announced its Sirajganj district committee which sparked a demonstration by a group of students. They staged road blockade adjacent to Jamuna Setu on Monday evening demanding to cancel the committee of Sirajganj district.

The demonstration forced the committee to be suspended and later, the protesters withdrew the blockade.

In reply of the suspension, leaders of the suspended committee staged the protest and blocked several roads in the city that night, demanding the committee's reinstatement and continued till today.
