Eight AL leaders held in Rangamati during "Operation Devil Hunt"

Eight leaders of Awami League and its associated organizations were arrested from different parts of Rangamati district as part of 'Operation Devil Hunt" over the last two days.

Among them, five were arrested by Kawkhali Thana Police.
They five were produced before the court on Monday.

The arrested men are Bikash Kanti Das; Jakir Hossain; Jafor Ahmed; Shahin Howlader; and Md Irfan Ali. All are affiliated with Awami League and its organizations. With their arrests, the total number of detainees rose to eight since the operation started.

Earlier, Three Awami Leage leaders, named Hazi Mansur Ali, Moula Miah, Shah Zalal, were arrested.
