Factory owner’s blood stained body recovered in Dinajpur

Police recovered the blood stained body of a factory owner from his factory at Biral upazila in Dinajpur district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Jakir Hosain, 55, a resident of Baluadanga Chauliapatti area in the upazila. He owned a food factory located at Dherapatia bazaar of Pipalla village in the upazila.

Following the incident, victim�s daughter Alma Raisa Prova, 28, filed a case with Biral Police Station.

According to case statement, a relative of the victim spotted the body at the factory and informed the police.

Biral Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Abdur Sabur confirmed the recovery and said that the body has been sent to a hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Motives behind the killing will be known after the autopsy report, the OC added.
