ONE Bank PLC, a leading private sector commercial bank of Bangladesh, as a part of its CSR activities, arranged a scholarship distribution ceremony for the financially backward but meritorious students of various educational institutions in Chattogram zone on Friday.
The scholarship distribution ceremony was held at Kamrul Islam Siddique Auditorium, LGED Bhaban, Chattogram.
Mr. A.S.M. Shahidullah Khan, Chairman of the Board of Directors along with Directors and Independent Directors, MD (CC) and DMD�s of ONE Bank PLC distributed the scholarships among the recipients.
Mr. Shabbir Ahmed, Managing Director (CC) of the Bank, delivered his welcome speech before the audience.
Mr. A.S.M. Shahidullah Khan in his speech informed the audience that ONE Bank has been working as a co-partner towards the development and welfare of the society by ensuring education for financially backward but meritorious students for spreading the light of education.
Mr. John Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director, Company Secretary and Head of Human Resource of the Bank gave vote of thanks in the program.
Among others, Bank�s Directors Mr. Sayeed H. Chowdhury, Independent Directors Former Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury and Mr. Md. Azizul Haque, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer and Head of Recovery Division Md. Anwarul Islam along with Senior Executives, parents of the scholarship recipients, teachers and elites were present on the occasion.
