Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) authorities have banned all types of meetings, processions and rallies at the campus following Friday's clash between two groups.
The directive was announced on Saturday (February 7) through a notice signed by the university�s proctor Dr Md Amzad Hossain.
The notice also warned that anyone violating this directive would face strict action under university regulations.
Meanwhile, a five-member probe body has been formed and it has been to submit the report by seven working days.
Prof Jafirul Islam was the convenor of this committee.
Kotwali Police Station inspector Kazi Babul Hossain said additional police have been deployed outside the campus on Saturday night.
"No one is arrested in the incident and no written complaint has been filed," he further added.
A clash broke out on Friday night between students of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and those from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department following a verbal altercation at a tea stall.
The confrontation escalated and continued till 12:30AM, leaving the university's proctor and seven students injured.
