Bharatiya Janata Party (BGP) won 48 seats out of 70 in Delhi election, ending its nearly three-decade wait in the national capital, while the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) down to 22 from the high of 62 seats in 2020 polls, reported NDTV.

Arvind Kejriwal's dream run in Delhi has come to an end and BJP has finally managed to breach Kejriwal's Delhi fortress to regain power after a gap of 27 years.

After two sweeping victories - in 2015 and 2020 - Kejriwal's AAP has been swept out of power in the 2025 assembly elections.

Meanwhile, Mamata Banarjees Trinamul Congress remained silent after the Delhi Assembly polls result displayed in screen highlighting BJPs euphoric victory on Saturday.
