Farmer electrocuted in Natore

A farmer was electrocuted at Singra upazila in Natore district on Thursday evening.

The deceased was identified as Amin Uddin Pramanik, 52, a resident of Panch Tirail village at Italy union in the upazila.

The incident took place at Tirail field while the victim was irrigating through a motor pump.

Local union parishad member Amirul Islam confirmed the incident and said that the body was recovered from the spot.

Singra Police Station officer-in-charege Asmaul Hoque said that investigation process is ongoing in this regard.
