Residence of Awami League (AL) leader and former member of parliament Mirza Azam in Jamalpur city was vandalized and set on fire on Thursday night.
The attacked was began while Sheikh Hasina, the ousted Prime Minister (PM) who fled to India after the July uprising, delivered a speech again on Thursday that collectively sparked outrage among Bangladesh's youth and students.
The protesters brought a bulldozer at Azam�s house located in the Bakultala area to demolish. Meanwhile, a mob also set his residence on fire during August 5.
Series of demolition across the country, targeting the high profile AL leaders and ministers residences, has been started from Wednesday.
In a related incident, the residence of Jamalpur district Awami League leader and father of actor Meher Afroz Shaon, Mohammad Ali, located in Norundi Bazar, Jamalpur Sadar upazila, was also arson attacked by the protesters.
Earlier, Protesters rampaged and finally razed Dhanmondi 32 Mujib residence to the ground as they considered it as a �pilgrimage of fascism� yesterday.
