Actress Meher Afroz Shaon arrested

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested actress Meher Afroz Shaon from Dhaka's Dhanmondi area on Thursday evening on charges of conspiring against the state.

Rezaul Karim Mallick , DB chief of DMP, confirmed the matter.

He said that she was taken to DB office on Mintoo Road at about 8:15pm.

DMP�s Deputy Commissioner of Media and Public Relations, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, said she has been taken into DB custody for questioning regarding the allegations.
