Housewife’s hanging body recovered in C'nawabganj

Police recovered the hanging body of a housewife at Gomastapur upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Thursday afternoon.

The body has been recovered from the victim�s house at Shibnagar village in the upazila.

The deceased was identified as Sabina, 26, wife of Soleman, a resident of the area.

Gomastapur Police Station Sub Inspector (SI) Abu Sabbir confirmed the recovery and said that presumably Sabina hanged her around 12:00 PM. Police recovered the body and sent it to a hospital�s morgue for an autopsy.

However, the victim�s family member claimed that she was assaulted by her husband on Wednesday night, the police official added.
