RUCSU election schedule to be announced this month: RU VC

The election schedule and roadmap for Rajshahi University Central Students� Union (RUCSU) will be announced in this month, said Professor Dr Saleh Hasan Nakib, the Vice Chancellor (VC) of the university, on Thursday afternoon.

Dr Nakib said that after being appointed as VC was announced to RUCSU poll and several preliminary works have been done in this regard.

We are hoping to announce complete roadmap and schedule for the poll in this month, said the VC.
According to the university sources, after being appointed as VC in September, 2024, Dr Nakib made an announcement to arrange the poll within six months. The university authority has discussed with the active students organizations' in the university, but the progress has stopped in this point.

Earlier, RUCSU Andolon Manch made a brief on February 3 and demanded to announce roadmap and schedule for the poll within this month.
