Awami League office vandalized in Chuadanga

Students and public protested all night and vandalized the murals of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib and the district Awami League office in Chuadanga.

On Wednesday, around 11 pm, the leaders and activists of the anti-discrimination student movement gathered in front of the Chuadanga Government College. They reached the Deputy Commissioner's office premises with a procession and attacked the portraits of Sheikh Mujib and Fazilatunnesa Mujib installed there and vandalized those with hammers, axes and sticks.
Later, the entire installation was demolished with an excavator. After that, the protesters went to the district Awami League office located at the municipality intersection and also demolished the portrait of Sheikh Mujib there.
