Tofail Ahmed's Bhola residence vandalised, torched

Students and mass people vandalised and set fire to the house of Tofail Ahmed, a member of the Awami League's advisory council and former lawmaker from Bhola-1 constituency, early Thursday.

Around 12:45AM, the protesters reached Tofail Ahmed's residence in Gazipur Road area of Bhola with a procession and made vandalism at his house named 'Priyo Kutir'. They later set fire to the house.

Locals informed that Tofail used to conduct his political activities staying this house when came to village.
Earlier, the students and locals brought a protest procession at about 9:30PM from in front of the Bhola Press Club protesting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina�s online speech.

The march, later, proceeded towards Kalinath Roy's Bazar and ended with a rally at Shaheed Noor Alam Square.
