Cat owner sues neighbour for killing his pet in city

A case has been filed in Dhaka court against Muktijoddha Tower resident Akbar Hossain Shiblu for killing a pet cat of Mansur Ahmed, a resident of Mohammadpur area of Dhaka.

In the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate, GM Farhan Istiak, on Wednesday, Nafisa Nowreen Chowdhury, on behalf of 'People for Animal Welfare' filed the case. The court took cognizance of the complaint and ordered Mohammadpur Police Station to investigate the matter and submit a report.

Plaintiff's lawyer Zakir Hossain confirmed this information to The Daily Observer.
