The Akheri Munajat (Final prayer) of the second phase of Bishwa Ijtema concluded on Wednesday on the banks of the Turag River in Tongi.
The 19-minute of final prayer was conducted by Maulana Zubair, top spiritual leader of Shura-e-Nizam, Bangladesh.
Earlier after Fajr prayers, Farooq Sahib, a senior Tabligh leader from Bangalore, India, delivered a sermon which was translated by Mufti Amanul Haque Sahib.
A total of 23 dowry-free marriages took place in the second phase.
The first phase of Ijtema ended on February 2, while the second phase commenced on February 3.
Nine devotees, so far, died on the Ijtema ground in the first and second phase.
The third phase of the Bishwa Ijtema, for followers of Maulana Saad Kandhalvi, is scheduled to take place from February 14-16.
