Worker's body recovered in Rangamati

Police recovered the body of a brick kiln worker at Kawkhali upazila in Rangamati district on Tuesday evening.

The deceased was identified as Titu, 35, a resident of Raozan upazila in Chottogram district. He used to work as an engine mechanic of Shamim Brick kiln,

The body was recovered from the abandoned brick kiln.

Kawkhali Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Saiful Islam confirmed the recovery and stated that the body bore several injury marks on the person's face.

Further legal steps will be taken in this regard, the OC added.
