A critically ill patient, Ferdousi Ara, returning to Santahar in Bogura, found herself stranded at Kamalapur Railway Station due to a prolonged train delay caused by a student protest.

The students of Government Titumir College blocked the Mahakhali Railgate and occupied the railway tracks, demanding the institution's upgrade to a university.
Ferdousi Ara, who had just undergone medical treatment, relied on an oxygen cylinder to breathe. However, as the train service remained halted for over three hours, concerns grew over whether she would reach her destination in time.

Her family, visibly distressed, feared the worst as she had only eight hours' worth of oxygen supply left.

Meanwhile, thousands of passengers at Kamalapur Railway Station waited anxiously for the resumption of train services. The blockade disrupted railway operations, leaving many stranded and desperate for an update on when they could continue their journeys.
