Security guard’s body recovered in N’ganj

Police have recovered the dead body of a security guard from Sonargoan upazila in Narayanganj district on Friday night.

The deceased, Saif Ahmed, 48, was son of late Siraj Uddin from Munsef para area of Brahmanbaria district. He worked as a security guard of City Lube Oil Industry Ltd.
According to locals, Saif was missing from Friday morning and didn�t attend his duty on Friday. After finding a sandal of him on the pond near his workplace, the workers informed Taltala Police Investigation Centre.

Being informed , police with the help of locals, recovered the dead body from the pond.

Md. Ferdous Islam, officer-in-charge of the police centre, said that they sent the body to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.

The cause of the death will be known upon autopsy report, he added.
