Garment worker hacked dead in city

A youth was hacked to death by some youths in Dhaka's Mirpur area on Friday night. 

The incident happened at around 11:00AM at a slum at Diabari area in the city.
 
The deceased was identified as Mizanur Rahman Milon, 23, son of Anarul, hailed from Rangpur.

It was learnt that some youths snatched the mobile phone of one Biplab, 12, at the slum. Some of the youths from the slum including Russel, Surya and Manik beat Milon up with sticks and stabbed him indiscriminately as he protested, leaving him critically injured. 

He was rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), where the doctors declared him dead around 12 am.

Inspector Faruk, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp, confirmed the matter.
