12 snatchers arrested in Cox's Bazar

Police have arrested 12 snatchers involved in multiple robberies from different areas in Cox's Bazar town.

The police of Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station conducted a special operation overnight on Friday (January 24) and arrested them.
Cox's Bazar Police Superintendent Muhammad Rahmat Ullah confirmed the matter.

He said that all 12 arrested are professional snatchers. After the operation, the police filed a regular case and sent the accused to the court. The court has sent them to jail.

The SP also mentioned that special operations will continue to keep the tourist town free from robbery and crime.
