2 BCL leaders arrested in Satkhira

Police arrested two former leaders of the banned Chhatra League in a murder case in Satkhira district.
They were arrested from Bakchara area of the town's bypass road on Friday (January 24) night.

The arrested are former president of Satkhira District Chhatra League and former upazila vice chairman Tanvir Hossain Sujan and former general secretary of Satkhira District Chhatra League and general secretary of District Swechchhasebak League Sheikh Ehsan Habib Ayan.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Satkhira Sadar Police Station Shaminul Islam confirmed the matter.

He said that they have been arrested in the case of Hafizur's murder at Jhaudanga Bazar. The case number is 50/9/2024.
