Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) Wednesday forecasted that weather may remain dry for the next 24 hours across the country begins from this morning.
"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," said the forecast that begins from 9am Wednesday.
Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay.
According to the forecast, moderate to thick fog may occur at places over Northwestern part and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during late night to this morning and it may continue till noon at different places over the country, reports BSS.
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added.
Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 29.7 degree Celsius at Teknaf in Cox's Bazar district and today's minimum temperature 11.5 degree Celsius was recorded jointly at Tetulia in Panchagarh and Srimangal in Sylhet
districts.
The sun sets at 05.38pm Wednesday and rises at 06.42am Thursday in the capital.
