The Home Ministry has transferred four Additional Deputy Inspectors General (ADIGs) and 16 Superintendents of Police (SPs) to new places, according to a notification issued by the Ministry on Tuesday.
According to the notification, ADIG of the Tourist Police Naresh Chakma was transferred to Rangpur Metropolitan Police as its Additional Commissioner while ADIG SM Emran Hossain, attached to Rangpur range, was posted to the Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) headquarters as its ADIG.
ADIG Mymensingh range Jabedur Rahman was transferred to the Chattogram range office while ADIG PBI Md Belayet Hossain has been sent to the range office Khulna as its ADIG.
SP of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and supernumerary ADIG Mohammad Shahnewaj Khaled was posted to the Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) as its Deputy Commissioner (DC). Dr Mohammad Abdul Kader who recently joined to the police headquarters was posted to the Special Branch (SB) as its Special Superintendant.
DC Barisal Metropolitan Police (BMP) and supernumerary ADIG Md Ali Ashraf Bhuiyan was transferred to the Police Special Training School (PSTS) Betbunia as its SP while DMP DC supernumerary ADIG Mohammad Moinul Hassan was posted to the In-service Training Centre, Sherpur as its Commandant.
Another DMP DC and supernumerary ADIG Md Zafar Hossain was transferred to the PBI as its SP while SP Industrial Police Mohammad Sarwar Alam was transferred to the DMP as its DC.
SP PBI Mohammad Al Mamun Sikder was transferred to the Industrial Police as its SP while SP of Tourist Police Mohammad Mohiul Alam was transferred to the Gazipur Metrpolitan Police (GMP) as its DC.
DC Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Md Nasir Uddin Jubair was posted to the Police Telecom as its SP and Md Reazul Kabir, SP at the DIG office of Khulna range was transferred to the Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) as its DC.
Md Nure Alam and Md Foyez Ahmed, both are SP at the DIG Mymensingh range offices were posted to the Range Reserve Force (RRF) Barisal and Khulna as its SP while Additional SP of the SB Md Rajib Forhan (supernumerary promoted) was posted to the range DIG office, Dhaka as its Additional SP.
Md Shah Nur Alam Patwari, newly promoted supernumerary SP at PBI was posted to the ATU as its Additional Superintendent of Police while Additional SP and supernumerary SP at DMP was attached with the range DIG office, Chattogram as its Additional SP.
