Fire at Gazipur jhut warehouse brought under control

A fire that broke out at a jhut (scrap fabric) warehouse in Konabari, Gazipur, was brought under control after an hour and a half of effort by four units of the fire service. 

The blaze destroyed three warehouses.  
The fire was contained at around 10:10 PM on Tuesday, according to Mohammad Mamun, Deputy Assistant Director of the Gazipur Fire Service.  

Mamun stated that the fire began around 8:45 PM in the Ambag area of Konabari. Upon receiving the report, two fire service units from Konabari and one from Bhogra Modern Fire Service joined efforts at the scene. The fire was successfully controlled by 10:10 PM.  

No casualties were reported, but the cause of the fire and the extent of the damages are under investigation.
