The temperature has dropped again in Panchagarh. Tentulia Meteorological Office recorded the lowest temperature at 7.9 degrees Celsius at 9 am on Sunday (January 19).
A mild cold wave is blowing over the district. However, since the morning, there has been relief in public life due to the bright sunshine.
The district was experiencing a mild cold wave until Thursday. The temperature was recorded at 9.8 degrees. Then on Friday and Saturday, the minimum temperature fluctuated between 11 and 13 degrees. The minimum temperature on Saturday was 11.8 degrees.
Earlier, on January 10, the first phase of the current winter season was marked by a moderate cold wave. The lowest temperature of the season was recorded at 7.3 degrees.
Tentulia Meteorological Office Officer-in-Charge Jitendra Nath Roy said the humidity was 87 percent. The wind speed was eight to 10 kilometers per hour. The second phase of moderate cold wave blew from Saturday night to morning.
