Bangladesh men's, women's Kho Kho teams exit from World Cup

Bangladesh men's and women's Kho Kho teams crushed out from the quarterfinals of the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup 2025, now being held at Gandhi Indoor Stadium in the Indian capital of New Delhi.

In the men's division held on Friday last night, Bangladesh men's kho kho team suffered 67-18 defeat to Nepal while in the women's division, host India showed spectacular display of skill and teamwork by securing their semi-final spot with an overwhelming 109-16 victory over Bangladesh.

The India men's team also marched into the last four with a commanding 100-40 win over Sri Lanka.

The first Kho Kho World Cup witnessed the participation of 23 countries from six continents, featuring 20 men's and 19 women's teams.     —BSS
