A Jubo Dal activist sustained bullet injuries in Rajbari's Pangsha upazila on Friday while returning after holding a rally.
Injured Monirul Biswas, 40, is currently undergoing treatment at Upazila Health Complex.
Miscreants attacked on Jubo Dal leader Farhad Hossain Sohag, 30, on Thursday afternoon at Golabari area. Protesting the incident, Patta Union Jubo Dal organised a protest rally at Jagirkoya Notun Bazar where upazila Jubo Dal convener Ariful Islam Arif was the chief guest, it was learnt.
When their motorcade reached the Golabari area around 7:30PM while returning from the rally, a group of eight to ten miscreants opened fire on the motorcade, leaving Monirul injured.
Pangsha Model Police Station OC Mohammad Salauddin said, "The culprits will be brought to the book after they are identified."
