BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Friday said that only the young generation can eliminate discrimination and build an equal society.

Speaking with reporters after attending a grand reunion of former students of Dhaka College at Dhalis Amber Resort in Sirajdikhan, Munshiganj, he said, "Youths are very much connected with modern technologies as their intellectual power is very sharp. If we can utilize them in the right way, the image of the country will change within a very short time."

Fakhrul said, "They can bring revolutionary changes at all levels of the country. For all these, they should give more importance to education."

Expressing joy after meeting his old friends from college, the BNP Secretary General said he feels proud of being a former student of Dhaka College.

"I first experienced student politics in Dhaka College and my days there were very joyful," he added.
