Man dies on way to hospital as truck rams auto-rickshaw at Asad Gate

A man was killed after a truck hit an auto-ricksahw in the capital's Asad Gate area early Friday.

The deceased was identified as Md Adam Ali, 55. He was a cloth businessman in Brahmanbari's Nabinagar.

He met the tragic end of his life while going to Ibn Sina hospital with his nephew.
The accident occurred around 3AM.

Masum, another nephew of Adam Ali, said, "Shaker Ali was electrocuted at his village home. For better treatment, his uncle Adam Ali took Shaker to Popular Hospital. When they were going to Ibn Sina from Popular Hospital the accident happened, leaving Adam Ali critically injured.

He was then rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at about 4:30AM.
