Ferry services resume on Daulatdia-Paturia route after 3 hours

The ferry services on the Daulatdia-Paturia route have resumed from 9 am after being suspended for three hours due to dense fog.

Earlier, the BIWTC authorities completely stopped the ferry services from 5:30 am on Friday (January 17).
According to BIWTC authorities, ferry services on the route were disrupted due to fog since 5 am on Friday. They announced a complete closure of the services to avoid accidents. At that time, two ferries were stuck in the middle of the river.

BIWTC Daulatdia Ghat Store Ranger Nur Ahmed Bhuiyan said that ferry services were suspended to avoid accidents. When the fog cleared, ferry services resumed from 9 am.
