The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) will host an investment summit from April 7 to 10 this year, said its chief, Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, on Wednesday.

"We aim to provide our foreign investors with a firsthand experience of the country's investment climate," he said at a seminar on investment prospects and challenges at the Economic Reporters' Forum (ERF) office in Dhaka.

Harun said the event will include a field trip for the investors. Doulot Akter Mala, president of the ERF, chaired the event.
