A Jubo Dal activist was killed in a clash between two factions of BNP in Chattogram's Mirsharai upazila on Monday night over establishing supremacy in the ongoing trade fair.

The deceased was identified as Jahed Hossain Munna, 20, son of Abdul Mannan of ward 6 of Mirsharai  municipality.

At least five persons of both the groups were also injured during the clash that occurred at about 10:30PM.
According to the people of the area, an altercation ensued between the followers of municipality BNP members secretary Jahid Hossain and Jubo Dal convenor Kamrul Hasan on Monday evening over establishing supremacy in the ongoing trade fair.

Around 10:30PM as sequel to that feud, Kamrul Hasan supporters attacked on Jahid Hossain's house and also his followers, leaving Munna critically injured.
