Padma Oil Company, renamed as Padma Oil Plc

 
CHATTOGRAM, JAN 12: The shareholders of the Padma Oil Company Limited approved a special resolution to change the name of the Company to "Padma Oil Plc, in accordance with the Companies act, 1994 (2nd amendment 2020).

The approval was given at the 10th Extra ordinary General Meeting of Padma Oil Company Limited held virtually through Digital Platform on Sunday.

The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the Company's Board of directors and former Secretary to Government of Bangladesh AKM Zafar Ullah Khan.

Key participants included directors of the board Anupam Barua, Md. Zakir Hossain, Md. Tarikul Islam Khan, Kutubuddin Akhter Rashid, Company's Managing Managing Director Engr. Md Abdus Sobhan, CFO Kanchan Chandra Shom, FCMA Company Secretary Ali Absar and BPC Officials were present on the occasion.
