One dengue patient dies, 57 hospitalised

One more dengue patient died while 57 were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours till Sunday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 630 while five deaths from dengue disease were reported this year so far.

Among the new patients, 21 were hospitalised in Chattogram, five in Barishal division, seven in Dhaka division, six in Dhaka North City Corporation while 11 in Dhaka South City Corporation, three in Khulna and four were admitted to different hospitals in Rajshahi.
Last year, 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported.
