Justice Murshed’s birth anniv today

The 114th anniversary of the birth of former chief justice, Syed Mahbub Murshed, one of the eminent constitutional lawyers in the Indian subcontinent, will be observed on Saturday.

Marking the day, the Syed Mahbub Murshed Memorial Committee will organise a prayer sessions at his graveyard at Banani in the capital, said a press release.

Syed Mahbub Murshed is described by intellectuals as 'a keeper of national conscience'.

Different socio-cultural organisations will also hold discussion on him, his historical role, and achievements on the day.
