BCL leader held in Bogura

A leader of the banned organization Bangladesh Chhattra League (BCL) was arrested by police at Sherpur upazila in Bogura district on Friday.

He was arrested at around 12:00 PM at Dasmail Bazar, under Garidaho union in the upazila.

The arrested BCL leader is Al Mamun. 27, son of Abdul Mannan, a resident of Kalismati North Para area in the union.

He was arrested in connection with a case filed on November 2, 2024, said Shafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sherpur Police Station.
