No dengue death in 24 hrs

No death due to dengue has been reported in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

During this period, 51 patients were hospitalised in Dhaka and other districts.
The total number of cases rose to 469 while three deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.

Currently, 362 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country.

Last year, dengue claimed the lives of 575 people.

According to the DGHS, there were 101,214 dengue cases and 100,040 recoveries in 2024.
