Light rain in country in 5 days: BMD

Light rains or drizzle is likely over the northern parts of the country in the next five days, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) prediction on Saturday.

A mild cold wave is sweeping over Panchagarh and it may continue, the latest bulletin added.

Moderate to dense fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue at places till noon.
Besides, air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may disrupt temporarily due to dense fog.

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may rise by (1-2)°C over the country. Meanwhile, night and day temperatures may fall till Thursday.

Today's lowest minimum temperature is 9.4°C at Tentulia.

At 6AM, the temperature in Dhaka and surrounding areas was recorded at 15.2 degrees Celsius. It may drop as low as 13 degrees Celsius later in the day, according to the Met Office.
