Army Chief meets Khaleda Zia 

Chief of Army Staff Gen Waker-uz-Zaman met with BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence on Thursday night at 8:30 pm.

BNP Chairperson's press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan told the Daily Observer, Army chief went to Gulshan residence to inquire about Khaleda Zia's health. At that time BNP leader Maj Gen (retd) Fazle Elahi Akbar welcomed the army chief.
"The Army Chief prayed for Khaleda Zia's speedy recovery," he said.

Gen Waker-uz-Zaman and Khaleda Zia met for about 40 minutes.

Waker-uz-Zaman's wife Sarahnaz Kamolika Zaman was present at the meeting.
