Police have recovered the body of an airline employee, who was reportedly abducted by some miscreants on Wednesday, from Patenga link road area of Chattogram.
The deceased was Osman Sikder, an office assistant of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) at Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport.
Roish Uddin, Deputy Commissioner (Crime) of Chattogram Metropolitan of Police (CMP) said the body bore several injuries marks and after recovering the body on Thurday morning, police sent it to morgue of Chattogram Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Emran Sikder , younger brother of the victim and General Secretary of Hathazari Upazila Hefazat-e-Islam, alleged that a group of miscreants abducted Osman from his residence around 3AM on Wednesday. He said Osman was killed due to a previous enmity.
Police, however, preparation is underway to file a case.
