4 killed in 3-vehicle collission in Gazipur

Four people were killed during a clash between three vehicles on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Gazipur's Chandana intersection on Wednesday night.

The deceased were identified as Saleha Akhter Tuktuki, 26, Imran Hasan Rajan, 38, and Md Mamun, 23, and Md Dulal, 42.

The accident happened at about 11:30PM under Chandona Chourasta flyover of the highway.
One died on the spot and critically injured three died on way to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital, said Bashon Police Station duty officer SI Kamrul Islam.

Witnesses said a Mymensingh-bound truck hit an autorickshaw on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at night. Then the CNG-run autorickshaw hit a covered van standing in front. It was then got twisted between the two vehicles.

The bodies were sent to the hospital morgue.
