BNP Senior Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi criticized the Indian media's involvement in Bangladesh's internal affairs, accusing India of being "tainted with the blood of Muslims, Christians, and people of other religions."

Speaking at an event titled 'Be great after buying local products' at Bhuban Mohan Park in Rajshahi on Tuesday, Rizvi condemned the Indian media's ongoing propaganda about Bangladesh. He stated that the communal harmony in Bangladesh would not be disrupted by such efforts.

Rizvi further stated, "If India demands Chattogram, we will also demand Bangla, Bihar, and Udisha from the Nawabi era." He argued that the people of Bangladesh would not tolerate Indian dominance, claiming that Sheikh Hasina had become a favorite of India to further its own dominance in the region.

On the topic of the Indian visa issue, Rizvi pointed out that Indian businesspeople are experiencing losses due to the reduced number of Bangladeshi customers and patients. He suggested that Indian patients might prefer to visit Bangladesh if the country's healthcare system was strengthened.

Rizvi called for India to show respect towards Bangladesh, emphasizing that the people of the country are united in their stance on freedom and sovereignty. He also noted that while Bangladesh once exported onions, the country has now started importing them to please India.

To express support for local products, Rizvi participated in an act of burning an Indian shawl to encourage the boycott of Indian goods. Local products were also sold at lower prices at the event.
