PIROJPUR, Dec 10: A team from the University Grants Commission (UGC) visited Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) in Pirojpur on Monday.
The UGC delegation was led by Professor Dr Mohammad Tanjimudin Khan, along with Deputy Director of Finance and Accounting Md Emdadul Haque and Senior Assistant Director of the Public Universities Department Md Nur Islam Chowdhury.
During the visit, the team inspected the proposed residential halls and accommodation buildings for male and female students, as well as the academic and administrative buildings. They expressed their satisfaction with the rapid development of the university and assured the administration of full support to meet the necessary requirements.
A view-sharing meeting was also held at the office of Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Shahidul Islam. Key attendees included Registrar Dr Alok Kumar Saha, Dean of the Science Faculty Dr Akhter Hosen, Proctor Dr Md Musa Khan, Director of Finance and Accounting Md Rafiqul Alam, and Deputy Director Md Arafat Hossain, along with other faculty members and officials.
