College teacher killed in Bogura road accident

The incident occurred around 8 PM in front of the Safeway Motel on the Bogura-Naogaon regional road.  

The victim, Jahurul Islam, was son of late Sams Uddin and hailed from Baniachhapra village in Khetlal upazila of Joypurhat district. He was a lecturer at Shibganj BL College in Bogura. 
According to Sub-Inspector Ramzan Ali of Upashahar Police Outpost, Jahurul Islam was traveling on his motorcycle when a truck hit him and fled the scene. He died on the spot.  

Police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy and further investigations are ongoing, added SI Ramzan Ali.
