In an unique effort to address the concerns of locals, several government officials conducted a public hearing in the Badarpur Union of the district on Monday.
The event, led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Bhola's Lalmohan upazila, Mohammad Shah Aziz, took place on Monday afternoon at the premises of the Badarpur Union Parishad in Bhola.
During the session, local residents voiced their concerns and sought solutions to various problems from the UNO and government officials present. Md. Shah Aziz assured the participants that their issues would be resolved promptly through the respective government departments. He urged the public to maintain their trust in the administration, stating that all issues would be resolved in due course if addressed systematically.
The hearing was chaired by Lalmohan Assistant Commissioner (Land) and administrative officer of Badarpur Union Parishad, Ehsanul Haque Shipon. Several key officials attended the event, including Lalmohan Police officer-in-charge Md. Sirajul Islam, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Abu Hasnain, Upazila Social Services Officer Md. Masud, Youth Development Officer Khalilur Rahman Imon, and Upazila Rural Development Officer Rima Akter.
Local residents expressed their appreciation for the initiative and highlighted the importance of such events in bridging the gap between the administration and the public. They hoped that similar sessions would be held regularly to ensure continued progress in addressing community concerns.
